SATELLITE & MOBILE UPDATES MARCH 2016 – KNOW THE UNKNOWN
It has been a while since i last roll out an update to inform the
house about various happenings in the world of satellite receivers,
dongles and internet tunneling. Today, i will be taking you through some
major events in the last couple of weeks. Without wasting much of your
time, i will go straight to business.
The sad and frustrating and sad news of the fall in Nigeria Currency has continued. This is seriously affecting prices of goods that are imported into the country. No least affected is the prices of dongles and receivers and also qsat codes.
Just two days ago, i posted a massive breakthrough with the cheapest data bundle we have ever witnessed in Nigeria. It was too good to be real, but it is 100% real and legitimate. If you want to get the breakdown of this, why note briefly head to my topic on ” how to get 6gigabyte of glo Nigeria data bundle for as low as #1,000″
In similar relieving fashion, I gave a comprehensive tutorials here on how you can easily track and install the two most popular powervu satellite channels in Africa. Am talking about MTN Worldwide and Sony package.
In a caricature of a scenario, “CPC(Consumers protection commission of Nigeria” severely write a petition to sanction Dstv Nigeria and their exploitative tendencies in Nigeria. The aftermath of this is the creation of two channels namely ss11 and ss12 to show epl, laliga and the oncoming euro 2016. These two channels are said to be available for compact(#6,000 per month) bouquet. a step in the right direction but more must be done. This channels are said to be available only in HD on their zappa and explora decoders. To learn more about the petition written against them, read this and to learn about the improved compact package read!!
Powevu continues to soar higher and higher by the day with amazing stability. This tech is not only the greatest threat to dst*(because they have little or no influence on it whatsoever), it is also becoming a threat to qsat(a good development though). If qsat misbehaves, they lose money and people moves to powervu. Also almost all commercial soccer viewing centers in Nigeria have dumped their dst* decoders for powervu. Big organizations like hotels and even banks are joining the race. Beer parlors are now showing live matches to their customers using this technology. I just pray we have even more alternatives in the nearest future. The only minor constraint of powervu majorly affects some household( I mean absence of space big enough to install at least a 1 meter dish). You want to learn about powervu? then read this.
The most stable and most reliable means of viewing premium satellite channels channels worldwide still holds its place. Am talking about none other than IPTV. We have premium android iptv boxes like Ancloud P5….. and we have many mobile iptv apps for android phines of which mobdro app is leading. To even alleviate the burden of data consumption, glo nigeria customers can now get amazingly cheap data bundle(see above). It is time to try iptv if you have what it takes!!!
Strong 4920, 4922 and 4922a continues being the best ever full fta decoder that has been subjected to the most ha*king and modification in the history of the product line. All new models of strong decoders can not load patch software to enable it use manual powervu keys, but strong 4922 loads this software effortlessly. Rumor even has it that, you can now use a mytv card in your strong decoders as before.
Tlink gshare accounts now available. Tlink hotbird server now fully back with a bang with more beinsports channels and skyports(not skysport uk) channels. Similarly, European cccam account is now even supporting more packages with canal reunion re added.
STATUS OF DONGLES / RECEIVERS AND IPTV
Just as qsat went of shockingly and unceremoniously on February 3rd(the very first day of the Chinese big vacation), they came back like they were before they went off. I mean no more server issue on any qsat as i speak and both canal 22w and dst* are working. The only imbalance is that, more channels are working on canal than on dst*. As at the time of publishing this article, all the most sought after sports channels are working seamlessly on dst* to the extent that i enjoyed all the UCL matches played on Tuesday and Wednesday as if i was on normal subscription. I mean without freezing. For you to qualify for this on your qsat, you need to do three things as a mater of complsion- You must have a valid spycam account; this also means if your account has expired, you must buy another one
- You must be on the latest compatible spycam software
- You must have a good and stable internet connection for your qsat. please do not bank on any 4g network for this.
